Day1: Arrive in Socotra
Arrival at Socotra airport, we will then transfer to the hotel in Hadibo to a have lunch. The afternoon activity is a visit to Deleisha coast which consists of pristine white sand, relaxing swimming in the sea and also in a freshwater lagoon, all with a beautiful mountainous background. There is also the possibility to visit the rare & endemic species of Socotra plants nursery. Dinner and over night at hotel in Hadibo.
Day2: dixam
After breakfast we will make our by 4x4 vehicle to dixam plateau and shebahon view point this area is renowned for the native dragon blood trees. the resin of which is collected used and traded by the people of Socotra the area is also home to endemic and rare Socotra bunting ( estimated at 1,000 pairs). The shebahon view point gives fabulous vista overlooking dearhu canyon where we will see unusual yet beautiful rock formation. We will then make our way down to the wadi in the canyon for lunch and an east-going and maybe also to swim in the fresh water pools in the wadi. We will then go back to Hadibo for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day3: Qalansyia / Detwah P.A
From Hadibo we drive west to Qalansyia. We then go to the protected area of Detwah lagoon, which is very nice landscape. Swimming in the sea lunch at Detwah. In the afternoon we will take a boat ride to shu'ab to look for Dolphins along the way & to see the forest of mangroves. we take the boat ride bake to Qalansyia . We will then go back to Hadibo for dinner. Over night at hotel
Day4
homhil & Dihamri P.A
This morning we drive to homhil protected Area Mountain. Homhil is one of the most important places in Socotra which is home of two famous plants dragoon blood frankincense and other endemic species plants and birds natural swimming pool nice. Lunch at homhil. We will then go back to the visits the marine protected area of Dihamri which is home to one of the richest coral reefs of the Socotra archipelago good place for snorkeling & swimming. Then drive to Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hadibo.
Day5: Departure from Socotra
Afternoon an early breakfast, we will transfer to Socotra airport to. |
